Eagles Basketball is now officially part of the CoMBA family!
We’ve joined forces with Cochrane Minor Basketball Association to bring everything under one roof:
- Eagles Basketball (Club)
- Kodiaks Basketball (Community)
- CoMBA Camps and & Academies
Starting July 1st, CoMBA will support all three, offering the same Elite Coaching and Programs you’ve come to expect at both the Club & Community level. Registration will be easier, allowing everyone in the Cochrane community to train, compete, and grow as a basketball player.
Get ready for upcoming tryouts, additional evaluations, and new training programs bringing a whole new level of basketball to Cochrane.
This Fall/Winter registration will open up on June 2nd at noon. If you would like to play Tykes (U9), Kodiaks (Community), or Eagles Fall Club, please register through CoMBA at https://www.rampregistrations.com/login?v3=60198a3868 (Registration branding will be changing to CoMBA soon)

Our basketball coaching program is a testament to the enduring legacy of the Eagles alumni. By harnessing the expertise and passion of local High School coaches and former players, we’ve cultivated an environment where knowledge is passed down with pride. Our leaders are driven by a profound sense of commitment, dedicate themselves to shaping the future of our youth programs, welcoming both boys and girls onto the court.

Our Programs
Our basketball academy offers an extensive array of programs tailored to elevate your game. From dynamic Spring and Fall team play opportunities that foster camaraderie and competition, to group sessions designed for collaborative skill development, and personalized one-on-one training that hones individual strengths, our diverse offerings ensure a comprehensive approach to refining your basketball skills. Whether you thrive in the excitement of team dynamics or prefer focused, personalized attention, our academy provides a platform for growth and improvement at every level.
Team Play:
Fall Basketball Team:
Starts in September and ends in November
- U17 (Boys & Girls)
- U15 (Boys & Girls)
- U13 (Boys & Girls)
Spring Basketball Team:
Starts in April and ends in June
- U17 (Boys & Girls)

Practices:
We work directly with the Rocky School Division booking our practices at Mitford, Rancheview, and Fireside Schools located in Cochrane.
Games:
We compete in the Prolific Sports House League, CMBA, Full Court Events, and in several Tournaments in Southern Alberta.
1:1 Training
1:1 SESSIONS:
Looking to improve in specific areas of your game and would prefer 1:1 training vs group sessions, this program is for you. For more details please reach out to us directly.
Summer Training
SUMMER TRAINING (Dryland):
Group training is held at Spraylakes Recreational Centre and facilitated by Professional Trainers, Alumni Players, and Coaches.
